From Theatre to Film

Moving between New York and Los Angeles, I have worked with artists all around the globe in my career. Theatre has been my home for over a decade but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I pivoted as so many of us were forced to do. I discovered a love of filmmaking. Starting out in the newly emerging field of COVID compliance, I soon found myself taking jobs as a PA, which brought me opportunities to do grip and electric work. I became the Gaffer on my first feature film. And then I discovered a true love for Directing.. My directorial debut was an adaptation of a short story that I wrote in the midst of COVID lockdown and the production brought together a team made up entirely of LGBTQ+ individuals – united for the singular purpose of telling our story.

With regards to online work, I have experience managing Zoom Webinars and meetings that run the gamut from interviews to DJ sets to political conventions to live performances to plastic surgery conventions. I can facilitate whatever production you envision for your online audience. My pre-coronavirus experience in stage management includes off-Broadway work, operas, special events, interactive performance, experimental performance, technology driven production, and educational tours. In addition, I have worked as a lighting and sound designer, fight choreographer, and electrician. I am ever expanding my range of work and enjoy the variety of artists with whom I have had the pleasure of working.
